Early Childhood Educator Webster Niblock School .5 position Medicine Hat Public School Division is taking applications for Early Childhood Educator. This is a ten-month position that includes competitive compensation and employee benefits.The primary purpose of the Early Childhood Educator will provide additional programming opportunities for kindergarten aged children. You will be responsible to deliver programming to support the development of early literacy, early numeracy, motor skills and social emotional growth of children participating in full time programming during the 2024-2025 school year. This position beings on August 27, 2024. Qualifications Must have a certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution. The ideal candidate will have : The ability to provide programming to support learning through play with Flight : Alberta's Early Learning and Care Framework as a guiding document. Demonstrated a commitment to work collaboratively with teachers, educational assistants and administration to support student success. Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable in order to carry out effective programming for children and provide leadership for the Play & Learn team. Exceptional planning and organizational skills. Interpersonal skills that result in building positive relationships through effective communication with team members including parents. An understanding of child development and experience working with children with diverse needs. Ability to understand and follow ISP's and behavior support plans. Completed SIVA training.
