JombonePrince Albert, SaskatchewanThe Role : As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the Mental Health Outpatient Clinic, you will provide patient-centered care to individuals with mental health conditions, performing assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.
Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnose psychiatric conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management.
Provide psychoeducation and counseling to patients and their families.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Provide crisis intervention and emergency care as needed.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Requirements :
Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program and relevant training.
Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health or psychiatric care.
Certifications : CPR, ACLS, PALS.
Strong knowledge of mental health conditions and treatments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
