The Business Developer role at SmartPixel
At SmartPixel, we would be nothing without our successful Sales team. We are seeking a qualified technical Business Developer to help us sell turnkey interactive solutions, including software applications and hardware audiovisual equipment that our customers have grown to rely on.
The ideal Business Developer will be a driver, energetic, creative, social, technical and open minded professional, as well as having a strong understanding of our sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals.
The position will require the capacity of traveling locally and internationally to attend meetings, trade shows and various types of events.
The Business Developer ‘s responsibilities
- Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business;
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities;
- Prepare professional, complete, and concise strategies, presentations and proposals, and other documentation as required for executive-level presentations;
- Generate leads by calling, emailing, networking and going to events;
- Collaborate with the Marketing department to provide creative ideas on how to generate inbound leads;
- Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos remotely and in person ;
- Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships to ensure overall success of your projects.
