Superintendent of Human Resources [email protected] The Good Spirit School Division invites applications for a Temporary Human Resources Advisor. The Human Resources Advisor is responsible for delivery of human resource services in support of instructional and non-instructional staff. They serve as a primary point of contact to administration and staff in a variety of functional areas with emphasis on recruitment and selection, onboarding, employee and labour relations, attendance management, workplace accommodation, reporting and general HR support. This position participates in data collection, research, interpretation, and administration of collective agreements and administrative procedures. Duties & Responsibilities : Work in collaboration with the Superintendent of Human Resources to support the recruitment and retention across all educational and corporate services. Administer and monitor absence management. Participate in the creation of workplace accommodations and gradual return to work programs. Provide recruitment and onboarding services as necessary. Participate in workplace investigations as required. Work in collaboration with hiring managers and Superintendents to ensure staff are meeting job expectations through the employee performance management processes and policies. Assist in evaluating and applying corrective disciplinary measures when necessary. Have a close working relationship with the leadership of 4 collective groups and out of scope personnel. Assist in administering and updating the Human Resource Information System. Be knowledgeable of administrative procedures and collective bargaining agreements and apply policies appropriately. Edit job descriptions as applicable. Create employment contracts occasionally. Create and analyse a variety of HR related metrics Perform other duties as may be assigned. Qualifications Diploma in Human Resources Management, organizational management or equivalent. CPHR designation would be considered an asset. 3-5 years of related human resources experience Working Conditions Out of Scope based on a 12-month calendar. Office at Good Spirit Education Complex. Partial work from home arrangement to be considered The division office for the Good Spirit School is located in Yorkton, a growing community of 17,000.
