Job descriptionBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field, with a focus on contaminated sites. Professional designation (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo., or R.P.Bio.) or eligibility to obtain one. Strong knowledge of federal, provincial, and local environmental regulations. Experience with soil and groundwater sampling, remediation technologies, and risk assessment. Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination. Strong communication and report-writing abilities. Proficiency in GIS, data analysis tools, and environmental modeling software is an asset. Job Title : Environmental Project Manager (Contaminated Sites)

About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager specializing in contaminated sites to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental site assessments, remediation, and regulatory compliance. This role involves managing multiple projects, coordinating with clients and regulatory bodies, and leading teams to deliver high-quality environmental solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee environmental projects related to contaminated sites from inception to completion.
- Conduct and supervise Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
- Develop and implement remediation strategies for contaminated sites.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to provide technical expertise and project updates.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and regulatory documentation.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
- Mentor and guide junior staff in environmental assessment and remediation techniques.
