As a Clinical Counselling Student Learner, (known internally as a Staff Clinician Student Learner) you will become an integral part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team within our EFAP, Stay At Work Services and / or Return To Work Services organizational units. With supervised focus on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers, you will participate in a variety of activities that will increase your knowledge and further establish your skills while qualifying for your Direct and Indirect hour requirements. This opportunity is a virtual placement with potential in-person experience

What you’ll be doing :
Dependent on the organizational unit hosting your practicum placement, your experience may include and is not limited to the following :
EFAP – Stay At Work (SAW) and Return To Work (RTW) :
- Deliver SAW direct and indirect clinical services as assigned, including confidential counselling to meet the hours of the practicum as discussed with the Practicum Placement Supervisor
- Receive case assignments, establish treatment plans, complete case progress notes as well as other indirect clinical service
- Adhere to professional standards and best practices
- Participate in training as required
- Work collaboratively with other clinical managers within SAW and RTW
- This is a virtual placement opportunity noting you may have the opportunity to attend in person as needed (dependent on proximity to a relevant office space)

Must be currently enrolled in a Master’s Program relevant to Clinical Counselling
