Hybrid 3x per week on-site in Ottawa, ON.Job Description : We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Control Specialist to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing incoming and outgoing transmittal requests, ensuring compliance with business standards, and maintaining accurate and accessible records. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Key Responsibilities : Process incoming transmittal requests from vendors, including quality checking files, ensuring compliance with ISI coversheets, creating Windchill objects, modifying metadata, and sending delivery notifications.Process outgoing transmittal requests to subcontractors and vendors, including quality checking files, ensuring matches to Windchill metadata, modifying metadata, downloading from subcontractor’s Windchill, and sending delivery notifications.Handle incoming TDP (T26) delivery notifications from subcontractors, including quality checking files, ensuring matches to Windchill metadata, modifying metadata, downloading from subcontractor’s Windchill, and sending delivery notifications.Prioritize tasks with a focus on financial claims, design zone, SM-512 SDRL response, production queries (PQs), and expedited requests.Collaborate with various departments to ensure document control needs are met and compliance requirements are adhered to.Maintain an organized and secure document storage system.Requirements : University degree or college graduate in business administration or technologies, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.At least 2 years of experience in document control, configuration management, or records management.Must meet the requirements to obtain security clearance.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Proficient in the use of electronic document / data management systems; familiarity with Windchill is an asset.Experience with data entry and database management.Professional maturity and the ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Compensation : $25 / hr to $45 / hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and AD&D.
