JomboneNorth Battleford, SaskatchewanAs an Early Childhood Psychologist, you will assess and diagnose developmental delays in infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Your role includes creating individualized intervention programs, providing counselling and guidance to families and caregivers, and collaborating with other agencies to ensure holistic support.
Responsibilities :
Conduct assessments and diagnose developmental delays in young children.
Develop and implement individualized programs to address developmental challenges.
Provide counselling and support to families and caregivers, equipping them with effective strategies.
Collaborate with professionals and agencies to deliver comprehensive care plans.
Offer education and resources to caregivers and stakeholders on child development.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and follow-ups.
Requirements :
Master’s or PhD degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Educational Psychology.
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists.
Expertise in child development, including assessment and intervention planning.
Strong interpersonal and counselling skills to support families and caregivers.
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail for case management.
