Job descriptionBonding and removal of brackets and orthodontic appliances Placing and removing arch wires Educating patients on oral hygiene and treatment progress Collaborating with team members to maintain a positive and cooperative atmosphere Adapting to a fast-paced environment with a critical thinking approach Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program Preferred : Current CDHNS certification to perform orthodontic procedures (we will provide training if you’re a new grad!) Ability to work independently without a dentist’s supervision on two of the scheduled days Preferred : 2+ years of experience as a dental hygienist Registered and in good standing with the dental hygiene regulatory authority Excellent communication skills and the ability to make patients feel at ease Current CPR and First Aid training With Orthodontic experience
