Expected salary range : $55,000 - $65,000 per year

We’re looking for a Copywriter to join our Marketing and Sales team based in the
Cheste r office in Vancouver, BC. This individual will report to the Content and Marketing Services Manager .
Job Overview : We’re looking for a copywriter who is bright, experienced and driven to join our fast-paced marketing team to cover a 10 month parental leave . We’re a strong Canadian brand who is a rep eat Best Employer award winner, and we get to spend our time talking about, taste testing and celebrating chocolate!
We are looking for someone who is a team player and takes initiative. You will be responsible for a large variety and volume of projects , so strong time-management skills are important as well . You will lead copywriting for initiatives such as new product launches, retail signage, sales program initiatives, email marketing, eCommerce, our philanthropic program, sustainability program, external communication needs and digital content across all Purdys channels.
You will have the opportunity to :
- B e part of the team responsible for the Purdys brand
- Deliver creative concepts such as ad campaigns, headlines, promotional emails, and product naming and descriptions
- Translate a creative brief into a creative concept
- D evelop and deliver copy in the Purdys Chocolatier brand voice
- U nderstand and connect with our audience
- E ngage with our audience and influence them through words and stories about chocolate.
