We cover the finance, accounting and payroll professions.I am looking for a property accountant for my client who specializes in real estate. This is a 35-hour permanent contract, located near a metro station in the city center.WHAT YOU'LL DO- Interpret leases negotiated with tenants of commercial properties, as well as related documents, in order to enter the legal and financial information contained therein into the Yardi system.- Draft and update tenant lease parameters in the Yardi system for billing, financial and legal analysis and reporting purposes- Ensure accuracy of data input and prioritize tasks in accordance with the company policies and procedures- Verify lease information in the system against original legal documents- Perform lease management tasks as required- Ensure monthly billing follow-upWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR- At least two years' experience in lease administration and / or equivalent relevant experience in real estate (shopping centers) AND good knowledge of finance / accounting- DEC in paralegal techniques or DEC in administration- Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of the MS Office suite- Knowledge of Yardi an asset- Fluency in French and English
