Connect Consulting Inc.Manitoba, CanadaReporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager will lead, manage, and execute heavy civil construction projects in Northern Manitoba and Northern Ontario. The ideal candidate will oversee project priorities and milestones, working closely with the senior leadership team, field operations, clients, and other key stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of each project. Our client is looking for a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
This is a site-based position operating on a 20 / 10 (FIFO) schedule.
Key Accountabilities Include :
- Lead and develop project management processes and methods for each project, with a focus on maintaining and / or improving safety management, construction processes and financial management.
- Develop and update all project schedules and communicate with management for planning purposes.
- Adhere to project budget, analyzing costs and developing forecasting to ensure optimal cost performance.
- Ensure development and implementation of project specific safety documents, training, and recordkeeping.
- Act a key primary contact for clients throughout project execution, provide accurate reporting, and being able to effectively identify and communicate scope and schedule changes.
- Support project planning in identifying contract requirements, assessing and identifying potential risks ensuring project readiness.
- Lead and manage field construction activities, coordinate site crews and provide direction and administration as required.
- Effectively measure project performance, able to effectively report performance and milestone to key stakeholders including senior leadership and clients.
