Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent. Current, unrestricted RN license in your province. Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac care, ICU, or telemetry. BLS and ACLS certifications. Strong knowledge of cardiovascular conditions and treatments. Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
The Role : As a Cardiac Care Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide specialized nursing care to patients with heart conditions, working closely with the cardiac care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct cardiac assessments and monitor vital signs, EKGs, and other cardiac tests.
- Administer prescribed medications, including those for heart conditions.
- Manage patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions, including post-surgical care.
- Educate patients and families on heart health, treatment plans, and medications.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans.
- Respond to cardiac emergencies and initiate life-saving interventions as needed.
