Job descriptionMinimum of 10 years of experience in the financial services industry Completed industry licensing – Mutual fund licensed or Securities licensed Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) or willing to obtain CFP® or PFP designation Proven track record for sparking new relationships and bringing on high value clients Compensation is aligned to business achievements. Compensation year 1 will be developed through collaborative discussion of the client family groups that the associate believes will transition with them. Percentage of practice ownership and assured value will be based on the percentage of assets transitioned relative to the overall size of the practice. January 2027 begin purchase of practice from Shari Foster using IG Wealth’s guaranteed Assured Value financing program.
As an Associate with the Shari Foster & Associates Wealth Management practice at IG Wealth Management, you will have the opportunity to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and participate in a full practice succession plan within 2-3 years.
In 2023, our practice was ranked in the top 100 across Canada and was named to the firm’s illustrious President’s Council Recognition Program.
We are looking to grow our team with the addition of a successful full-time financial advisor with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
Your role will focus on working towards the succession plan by :
- Building relationships.
- Identifying new business opportunities with high net-worth individuals.
- Preparing and presenting full holistic financial plans using Conquest software.
- Developing new client relationships from external prospecting and introductions generated from centers of influence.
