Join our team at Hotel Arts Group's SAIT Curated Catering location as a Banquet Floor Manager and take charge of leading our hospitality professionals to success in food and beverage excellence.

Key Responsibilities : Coordinate, supervise, and lead banquet staff in the flawless execution of events at Hotel Arts, both onsite and at offsite locations.
Proactive in the planning and execution of assigned events Assist in scheduling and assigning banquet staff to ensure adequate event coverage.
Manage inventory of event equipment including linens, tableware, and beverages.
Ensure events are set up according to client contracts and Hotel Arts standards.
Oversee event operations, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction.
Ensure accurate posting of event bills and collaborate with accounting on billing accuracy.
Solicit client feedback to continuously improve event delivery.
Ensure compliance with health, service, and labor regulations.
Assist the Catering leadership team with additional business-related and administrative tasks Participate in onboarding and ongoing training of all banquet staff Coach and motivate team members to meet the vision of the banquet department to provide exceptional events Participate in the annual strategic plan for the department, striving to improve the services and amenities offered Job Requirements : Valid ProServe Certificate required Class 5 Driver's License required Experience driving transport trucks and large passenger vans an asset Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage.
Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to lead teams and drive continuous improvement.
