The Role : We are seeking a driven Chemistry Technician to support the operation and testing of pilot-scale water treatment processes.
Our ideal candidate would be a Chemist who pays very close attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
You will excel in this role if you possess strong communication skills, can work both autonomously and in a team, enjoy hands-on mechanical work coupled with chemical lab work, and enjoy using mathematics to analyze results.
Your main tasks will include : Completing pilot plant data collection, wet lab analysis, data interpretation, and data management (training provided).
Preparing test samples for external lab analysis, coordinating with external labs, executing quality control, and managing and distributing all data.
Executing test procedures, interpreting data, and proposing next steps.
Operating pilot scale industrial desalination plants and performing lab scale bench tests (training provided).
Writing completion reports as required.
Conducting pilot plant maintenance (training provided).
You will be a great fit if you have : A degree or diploma in Chemistry, Chemical, or Environmental Technology.
- 0 to 3 years of post-graduation experience.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot efficiently.
A strong safety ethic and focus on maintaining a clean work environment.
Proficiency with tools, industrial instruments, and lab equipment.
Ability to collect data, prepare reports, and interpret results accurately.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
A team-first attitude and willingness to pitch in as required.
