Job Title : Warehouse Receiver

Location : Vaughan, ON

Shift Hours :

Regular Shift : 2 : 00 PM – 11 : 00 PM

Successful candidates will be required to train on the AM shift (7 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM) for the first week before transitioning to the afternoon shift hours.

Job Description :

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable warehouse receiver (with forklift license) to join our team in Vaughan. The successful candidate will play a key role in the safe and efficient movement of materials within the facility. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in manufacturing and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate counterbalance and crown reach forklifts (15%- 20%) to move materials throughout the warehouse and production floor.

Load and unload shipments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety procedures.

Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.

Receive and Verify Inventory : Accurately receive purchase orders (POs) with multiple items and ensure all products are checked against the order details.

Attention to Detail : Pay close attention to SKU numbers, which may differ by a single numerical or alphabetical character, ensuring that items are received and processed correctly without error.

Inventory Management : Properly organize received goods, ensuring they are stored in the correct location, labeled, and documented accurately.

Quality Assurance : Inspect incoming items for quality and quantity, checking for discrepancies, defects, or damages, and report any issues to the supervisor.

Data Entry & Documentation : Accurately record received goods and input data into inventory management systems, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate.

Collaboration : Work closely with the purchasing and warehouse teams to address discrepancies, and ensure smooth operations and timely processing of received goods.

Operational Efficiency : Ensure all inventory is handled with care and efficiently, minimizing errors and delays in the receiving process.

Requirements :

Experience : Proven experience in a receiving department or inventory management, particularly in environments dealing with complex POs or large volumes of products.

Attention to Detail : Pay close attention to SKU numbers, which may differ by a single numerical or alphabetical character, ensuring that items are received and processed correctly without error.

Communication Skills : Ability to communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding discrepancies or issues with incoming shipments.

Problem-Solving : Ability to identify issues with received goods or inventory discrepancies and resolve them in a timely manner.

Physical Stamina : Ability to lift, move, and organize inventory as required.

Inventory Management : Properly organize received goods, ensuring they are stored in the correct location, labeled, and documented accurately.

Quality Assurance : Inspect incoming items for quality and quantity, checking for discrepancies, defects, or damages, and report any issues to the supervisor.

Data Entry & Documentation : Accurately record received goods and input data into inventory management systems, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate.

Valid certification for Counterbalance and Crown Reach Truck operation .

Only Permanent Residents (PR) or Canadian Citizens are eligible to apply.

Compensation :

Once candidate moves to afternoon shift rate will be $21.50

Competitive wage with opportunities for overtime.
