Job description : Overview
Seeking a dynamic Plant Manager to oversee operations in a high-volume industrial mining and manufacturing environment. This role requires leadership in ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective processing of materials into finished goods, meeting quality standards, and driving continuous improvement with P&L responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all site personnel, providing clear direction and support.
- Ensure efficient project management, cost control, and customer satisfaction within engineering and production teams.
- Develop and approve production plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with plant objectives, inventory management, and shipment coordination.
- Allocate resources (personnel, machinery, etc.) effectively to optimize production and minimize costs.
- Manage maintenance shutdowns, equipment repairs, and associated costs.
- Maintain plant efficiency data, operating instructions, and compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Oversee departmental budgets and capital requests.
- Drive employee performance, development, and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high employee morale.
