Your opportunity :
As the MFI Graduate Administrator, you will report to the Manager, Graduate Programs and the Director, Administration and Finance, serving as the primary point of contact for program inquiries and overseeing the end-to-end operational and administrative aspects of a highly successful professional program. Your responsibilities will include marketing and recruitment, managing the admissions process, coordinating program scheduling and management, student records, graduation procedures, and alumni engagement. Additionally, the role involves analyzing data for program planning, developing outreach materials, maintaining website updates, and advising students and faculty. Other duties include organizing events, leading workshops and information sessions, handling confidential information, making referrals, managing minor purchases, and acting as a key resource for various program functions.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Advising students on academic and / or financial matters by providing options and consequences incorporating personal circumstances impacting academic success and an understanding of an individual's background
- Reviewing and assessing petitions for special consideration
- Providing detailed information on program and / or course eligibility requirements, procedures, policies and deadlines
- Analyzing statistical information to inform enrollment projections and planning
- Delivering student recruitment presentations
- Interpreting guidelines to determine the eligibility of graduate students for teaching assistantships
- Preparing draft employment letters using templates
- Evaluating and recommending appropriate work-integrated learning opportunities for students
