Job description

We're seeking a dynamic Bookkeeper to join our client's team in Bedford NS . This is full time, permanent position.  What We Offer :

  • Salary : 50k to 55k
  • Permanent, full time. Monday to Friday , Dayshift
  • Benefits- Dental and Health benefits

What You'll Do :

  • Read and analyze incoming memos, letters, and reports to determine their significance and distribute them appropriately
  • Answer and direct phone calls or take messages for appropriate parties
  • Coordinate invoice routing and monitor payments to vendors
  • Bookkeeping tasks such as accounts payable and accounts receivable - Conduct bank reconciliations and Visa account reconciliations - Utilize accounting software Sage (or similar) to input and manage financial data - Payroll processing
  • Payroll for approximately 20 + staff

    • What We're Looking For :

  • High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in receptionist / office administrator role
  • Minimum 2 years in a bookkeeping position
  • Experience with processing payroll considered as asset
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and managing files and records and other office procedures at a proficient level
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
