Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional looking to grow your career in accounting? Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a respected client. This role is ideal for individuals who excel at managing deadlines, maintaining accuracy, and supporting efficient financial operations.
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, your duties will include :
- Processing a high volume of vendor invoices promptly and accurately
- Verifying coding, approvals, and documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies
- Handling payment processing and reconciling vendor accounts
- Communicating with vendors to resolve discrepancies and managing inquiries professionally
- Supporting month-end closing activities, including AP reporting and accrual preparation
- Contributing to process improvements for greater efficiency within the AP workflow
- Previous experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or other ERP systems
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving problems
- A team player with strong communication and organizational abilities
