Job descriptionPrevious experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred. Must have forklift license. Must be able to speak, understand, write English. Verbal and written skills a must. Must have basic computer and iPhone knowledge. Must be reliable, trustworthy, responsible, punctual. Must have drivers license and vehicle Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks, including repetitive lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time Basic mechanical knowledge to operate warehouse equipment safely Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Order picking Warehouse operations Load / unload trucks Order fulfillment Mechanical knowledge for operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes) Warehouse distribution processes
You must be physically present in Canada to apply.
- Perform order picking and packing in a warehouse environment
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of orders for shipment
- Maintain inventory control and perform cycle counts as needed
- Cleaning / prepping of equipment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
