Sr. Data Entry Clerk

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Data Entry Clerk in Toronto, Ontario. Operating within the industry, you will play a vital role in processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. Furthermore, you will be tasked to monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize and analyze data from various sources using statistical techniques to support calculations / analysis for new business and renewal pricing.
• Perform calculations and analyze data related to insurance premiums and other financial metrics.
• Manipulate, reconcile, and evaluate data within excel worksheets.
• Improve workflow and tool efficiency through simplification and automation of tasks.
• Maintain accurate documentation of methodologies, assumptions, and results for audit purposes.
• Understanding of reinsurance products; prior experience in an insurance company is an asset
• Strong communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail, a self-starter, takes initiative, inquisitive
• Collaborative, a team player
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to VLOOKUP, pivot tables, Macros
