On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for an AI Engineer to join our Client's team on a 1-year Temporary Full-Time basis. This role is Hybrid (minimum 3 days on-site per week), and the Client is based in Vancouver, BC .
Summary of the Role :
The AI Engineer will design, develop, deploy, and monitor AI and machine learning models to solve business challenges. This role focuses on implementing scalable AI solutions, including chatbot development, MLOps best practices, and enterprise platform integration. The successful candidate will work with open-source frameworks, cloud services, and AI-driven automation.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement machine learning models to address specific business needs.
- Optimize models through hyperparameter tuning and algorithm enhancements.
- Build and maintain intelligent chatbot solutions using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and knowledge graphs.
- Deploy and monitor AI models on cloud platforms such as AWS SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock.
- Develop and maintain MLOps pipelines for continuous model training, validation, and deployment.
- Utilize Apache Tika for processing unstructured data and transforming datasets for AI applications.
- Ensure AI models maintain high performance and implement automated retraining processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI initiatives with business goals.
- Document AI model architectures, deployment workflows, and evaluation metrics.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in AI, machine learning, and cloud technologies.
