As the Medical Office Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing administrative tasks in a medical office setting. This role requires strong data collection and medication administration skills.

Please note : this is a contract position set a 1 month, with the opportunity to extend.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records
  • Collect and maintain accurate data related to patient demographics, medical history, and insurance information
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of care
  • Handle billing and insurance claims processing
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience working in a medical office setting is non-negotiable
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using electronic health record systems and other relevant software applications
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
