Return to Work Support Services Kinesiologist
We are seeking a skilled Kinesiologist to join our team of healthcare professionals at Community Therapists. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting Job Site Visits and Graduated Return to Work plans, as well as strong communication and negotiation skills.
About the Role
As a Return to Work Support Services Kinesiologist, you will play a critical role in helping clients recover from physical injuries and return to their pre-accident employment. Your duties will include :
- Conducting Job Site Visits to determine critical job demands or complete job coaching
- Functional screening assessments to identify client needs
- Development and monitoring of Graduated Return to Work plans to ensure safe and successful returns to work
- Providing education on symptom management and ergonomic strategies to facilitate durable returns to work
You will work closely with physicians, WorkSafeBC board officers, and other members of the client's healthcare team to ensure a coordinated program for your clients.
