Job descriptionReview and verify the work of hotel front desk clerks Supervise the activities and coordinate the scheduling of the front desk team Arrange training and orientation of all new front desk team members Coordination of front desk activities with other departments Enter rooming lists in the computer system Coordinate handling of all tours and tour policies Ensure accurate room counts are kept Submit room forecasting and progress reports Open and close room availability when necessary Effectively handle guest inquiries and complaints Learn procedures and functions of hotel front desk clerks 2+ years experience in a major hotel, one year of supervisory experience an asset Able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace Good communication skills, both verbal and written Most tasks are performed in a team environment with the employee acting as a team leader Able to work with minimal direct supervision Basic computational ability Basic computer skills Knowledge of hotel computer accounting programs, such as Maestro Beautiful. You'll be work ing in the iconic, unforgettable and inspiring location .
