South Country Co-op is recruiting an Junior Talent & Culture Advisor on a full-time basis, on-site within our Business Support Center in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
Reporting to the Talent and Culture Advisor, the Junior T&C Advisor assists in providing HR support to the Human Resources team in order to ensure the HR functions are delivered in line with best practices and meets the needs of the organization. The successful incumbent will be resourceful, resilient, detail oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
This position will also assist with the implementation of most aspects of the HR function including : labour relations, employee relations, retention and adherence to applicable legislation and collective agreements, policy, and full recruitment cycle in alignment with the organizations business needs. This position operates within a busy, diverse environment and involves a variety of administrative tasks and interacts with all employees at different levels across the organization.
You will also be responsible for :
Administration, Human Resource Functions
Primary :
- Assist with labour relations and employee relations items.
- Administrative functions relating to Employee Benefits.
- Full cycle of employee leaves including administration of short- term and long-term disability files.
- Maintain HR Information, personnel files and confidential documentation ensuring data integrity, within HR Systems
- Advise on internal and external Human Resources related inquiries from clients, department managers
