- Key Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of clinical hygiene services including (but not limited to) scaling, root planning, polishing and topical fluoride.
- Understand how to case type patients based on clinical protocol.
- Act as an oral health educator, introducing clients to preventative techniques and guiding them as to good oral health habits.
- Establish strong patient relationships in a professional manner.
- Deliver a unique experience, personalized to each patient’s expectations and desired outcomes.
- Position Requirements
- Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program.
- Registered as a Dental Hygienist in the relevant province of occupation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and organize a fast-paced daily schedule.
- Demonstrated experience working independently within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Proficient computer skills including practice management software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) would be considered an asset.
