About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Communications, Corporate and functionally reports to the Director, Clinical Engagement, One Person One Record (OPOR) Program, this role is a key member of the OPOR program team. The Senior Communications Advisor will provide strategic and tactical advice / counsel while delivering dynamic communication plans and products to ensure achievement of NSH, IWK and government’s goals related to OPOR. Working closely with colleagues in communications, OPOR clinical engagement team and OPOR leadership the position supports the team’s communication and engagement activities that build and strengthen the organizations response to issues, challenges and opportunities that advance the OPOR program in the health system.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following :
- Minimum of five years’ relevant experience in communications.
- Knowledge of best practice related to corporate communications, engagement, public relations, graphic design, online engagement.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional skills in preparing web, social media, and online engagement strategies with demonstrated success in developing effective content and engaging audiences.
- Strategic and system-focused thinking; strong analysis and decision-making skills.
- Experience in planning and coordinating events.
- Ability to support internal and external collaborative relationships; ability to work effectively within cross-departmental teams.
- Ability to manage projects, delivering on budget and on time.

Compensation and Benefits
40.95 - $51.19 Hourly
