Job descriptionMinimum of a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering from a recognized university; Must be registered with APEGNB as an EIT or ; Minimum of 2 years of experience in geotechnical and / or civil engineering; Strong English communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to communicate in French is an asset; Motivated to provide excellent client service and enjoy working in a team environment; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; Demonstrated interest and sensitivity toward occupational health and safety and our quality management system; and, Willingness and ability to travel for project work, including having an active driver’s license. Your Challenge :
We are currently seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our New Brunswick team in Moncton, NB. Not only will you be given an opportunity to help bring local geotechnical projects to life; but you will also have a chance to collaborate with EXP team members across North America on some very large and challenging projects!
Your Responsibilities :
- Coordinating and participating in field investigations and QA / QC inspections;
- Preparation of proposals and technical reports;
- Conducting detailed design and analysis for a variety of geotechnical projects;
- Coordinating on designs with other engineering disciplines for multi-disciplinary projects;
- Managing small to medium sized projects, including cost monitoring, schedule control, communications with clients, and contract documentation; and,
- Support the development of the Earth & Environmental group by developing relationships with existing and future client contacts, attending meetings, and supporting Business Development initiatives.
