Job descriptionExperienced in different elements of projects from start to finish, including; scope development, specification development, tender management, managing contractor installation, quality review and project close out You have four to seven years of Mechanical and Electrical construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience You have a strong understanding and proven experience with maintenance and life-cycle budgeting and are technically competent in understanding statutory and mandatory compliances and legislation Experienced in managing various projects and tasks Ability to prioritize and manage workload with limited supervision Previous experience with pre-construction is an asset

You as an Assistant Project Manager - M&E will be :
- Plan the Mechanical, Electrical and Information Technology Scopes of work of a construction project and prepare a construction schedule in conjunction with the Project Superintendent & Project Manager.
- Help to prepare regular, timely and accurate billings for the mechanical and electrical components of the job to ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings
- Monitor in conjunction with the Superintendent, a project’s material and labour costs for Mechanical and Electrical components and assure accurate quality reporting is being conducted
- Review Mechanical and Electrical changes received from the Consultants to ensure they are complete and up to standards and review subcontractor prices on these changes
- Provide expert advice and proactively report on delivery and performance, utilizing available tools and information while maintaining detailed, accurate and up to date records of site infrastructure, plant and equipment including product and technical information
- Assist in the planning of the Mechanical, Electrical and Information Technology components of a construction project
- Take part in project meetings, determining the status of the job in terms of scheduling and costing and solve complex technical issues
- Provide a focal point liaison for the end Client on all aspect of the operational service
- Establish necessary policies, procedures, action plans, critical indicators, timetables and performance measures to guarantee high quality services and timely deliverables to the client
